Super Flint wins Carriacou Soca Monarch

HE may not win the constituency of Carriacou and Petite Martinique in the 2013 General Election, for the Movement of Independent Candidates, but Super Flint was able to dethrone Carriacou’s 2012 Soca Monarch winner, Skinny Banton, and flew away with the crown with his rendition “Fly Your Kite” last Friday night.

Super Flint was named the winner
of the Carriacou Soca Monarch.

He, however, failed to capture the Groovy Monarch title and had to settle for second place tied with Dwayne John. The eventual winner was Jermaine Simon.

The Queen Show competition winner was Miss Grenada, Varnessa Joseph, who also received five extra points for punctuality.
