LaLuna recognised by Cocotraie Magazine

ONE of Grenada’s hotels was recently recognised as among the best Design and Excellence (D&E) Awards resorts in the Caribbean by Cocotraie Magazine.

The D&E Awards identifies, highlights and rewards those who have set new standards in luxury and hospitality, while pushing the boundaries in design innovation and aesthetic.

The nomination process required resorts to have excelled within the criteria of: elegance, design
individuality, creativity, innovation, practicality, attention to detail, sensitivity to the environment, harmony within the surroundings, use of space and materials, accommodations, guest experience and level of service.

An awards committee panel comprised architects, designers, international representatives from the travel and tourism industry and Cocotraie contributing editors, who judged the nominees and created the rankings.

LaLuna is proud to have been included for recognition among some of the Caribbean’s most prestigious boutique hotels. Ranked by Cocotraie as the 16th best resort in the Caribbean, LaLuna is the only Grenadian hotel to have earned the honour.

LaLuna is a small 16-suite boutique resort, set in a secluded bay on the west coast of the Spice Island of Grenada. The Grenada resort is sought after as one of the most exclusive venues for Caribbean Destination Weddings and Honey-moon Retreats.

Balinese themed with thatched roofs and four-poster beds, this romantic getaway is enhanced by an Italian restaurant, Sunset Bar and Lounge. The Wellness Centre comprises an Asian Spa with Balinese therapists, and daily yoga in the pavilion directly on the beach. (LS)
