India offers training programme to Grenada
AS part of the continuing co-operation between the governments of Grenada and India, Grenada will benefit from three training courses to be conducted during the first quarter of 2013.
Two police officers will each attend a course in IT in Law Enforcement and Advanced Fingerprinting and Computers from January 7 to March 29, 2013 in India, while the Department of Labour will benefit from a training and development programme entitled “Development of Employment Policy for Sustainable Economic Development and Improvement in Workers Welfare”, from January 16 to February 2, 2013.
“The priority for my administration is the development of our Human Resource. We continue to work with international partners and friendly governments to secure opportunities for our people to fulfil their potential and improve the quality of service to our people,” Prime Minister Tillman Thomas said last week Thursday.
He expressed his government’s appreciation to the Government of India for its continued support.
