NAWASA delivers Christmas hampers

TWO teams of the National Water and Sewerage Authority (NAWASA) employees journeyed around the island on December 20, 2012 bringing Christmas cheer to 32 families. The recipients were surprised
with Christmas Food Hampers, which included foodstuff, toiletries and of course, the Christmas ham.

The lucky recipients were identified by employees and fit the selection criteria of financially vulnerable, but with unwavering commitment toward the payment of their monthly water bills.

The activity is into its eighth year and according to General Manager, Christopher Husbands, “It is a gratifying and humbling experience every year for every single member of the NAWASA family. The
opportunity to be able to add even the smallest smile to anyone’s face and especially a customer, especially at this time of year, is an enormous privilege.”

Consumers were high in praise for the contribution of NAWASA and expressed their gratitude for the unexpected outreach and particularly the involvement of staff.

The Board of Directors, Management and Staff of NAWASA extend best wishes to all consumers for 2013.
